About Our Association
The Mortgage Brokers Association of British Columbia represents the province's mortgage industry and exists to support and enhance professionalism and ethical standards within the mortgage industry. Incorporated in 1990, the Association is not-for-profit, based in Vancouver and has a growing membership of over 1700. The MBABC offers educational and networking events designed to enhance professional development and relationship building within the industry and among clientele. The MBABC is governed by an elected Board of Directors, an Executive Director and Member Services team.

MBABC represents the mortgage industry in BC and exists to support and enhance professionalism, ethical and professional standards and co-operation in the mortgage industry while elevating consumer awareness.
MBABC is committed to achieving these objectives by:
- Educating its members and industry partners in all aspects of the mortgage industry
- Speaking out on emerging issues that impact regulations and ethics
- Hosting industry events that foster communication amongst our members
- Providing the platform for celebration in our dynamic industry
- Providing a bridge between our members and our regulators
